Learn on Country through stories, rock art, and the living traditions of Ngaut Ngaut.

Bring learning to life with a cultural education experience at Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park. Led by Aboriginal guides from Black Duck Dreaming, students explore ancient rock engravings, hear Dreaming stories, and engage with artefacts in a hands-on, respectful environment. Students will learn:

  • Cultural Knowledge: Gain insight into the traditions, stories, and language of the Nganguraku people, shared by Aboriginal custodians on Country.

  • Ancient History: Explore one of South Australia's most significant archaeological sites, including ancient rock engravings and evidence of early Aboriginal life.

  • Connection to Country: Understand the deep spiritual and environmental connection between the land and its Traditional Owners, and how this shapes sustainable living.

Whether on-site or in the classroom, our programs connect history, archaeology, and living culture—offering students a deeper understanding of Aboriginal heritage and connection to Country.
